Clover Legends Light Guide: Aim and Spell Milestones
Follow Light attacks toward the target, adjust placement before extending the sequence, and inspect spells that open at book milestones.
When using Light in Clover Legends, learn the direction and landing area of an available attack before trying to repeat a showcase's full sequence. Light is one of the books introduced as being “for the few,” and its book spells develop through the same Level 10 and 20 milestones.
Follow the attack toward the target
Choose a manageable enemy and begin from a position with a clear view. Watch where the available attack travels or appears, then compare that with where the target is when the hit should land. A striking visual effect is less useful to the session if the intended enemy is outside it.
The Portuguese gameplay video below demonstrates Light. Watch its directional attacks and the player's target choice, then compare those observations with the spells currently shown in your own book panel.
Adjust placement before adding speed
If the first attempt misses, change the position or aim and repeat the same action. Do not immediately extend the sequence: another effect can hide whether the original placement improved. Once the opening lands consistently, test a follow-up while keeping the target choice similar.
| What you notice | Decision for the next attack |
|---|---|
| The effect travels past the target | Adjust the line toward the enemy before repeating |
| The target leaves the landing area | Reassess its position before committing the next action |
| The opening connects reliably | Try one available follow-up in the same encounter |
| The demonstration uses a locked move | Inspect your book level and practice the available loadout |
Do not treat the recording's equipment or attack sequence as a fixed requirement. Your immediate goal is a repeatable hit with the moves you have. A longer demonstration may include options that have not opened in your book yet.
Use milestone spells to expand the approach
Fighting levels the equipped grimoire. At Book Level 10 and 20, inspect the panel for spells that open inside that same book; another spin is not required for those unlocks. Try the added move alone and note whether it gives you another way to reach or manage the target.
After that test, choose where it belongs in the encounter: an opening option, a follow-up, or an action to reserve until the target is positioned clearly. Those are practice choices, not an official Light combo list. The roster identifies other books, and the beginner guide keeps experimentation attached to a useful session objective.
Does an impressive showcase establish a damage ranking?
No. A visual demonstration shows how attacks look and land in that encounter. It does not establish equal player levels, equipment or damage values for every book.
