Clover Legends Wind Guide: Keep or Replace the Book

Reviewed 2026-09-16Unofficial player article

Record useful Wind spell observations, revisit the unlock milestones, and decide whether the failed task calls for another style.

Wind is a starting book in Clover Legends. If you already have it, decide whether it supports a fight you can finish consistently before spending on a replacement. This Wind guide uses the book's own spell panel and unlock milestones as the basis for that decision.

Give the equipped book a fair comparison

Read the name and level of your equipped book, then identify which moves are actually available. Compare those moves with your objective rather than comparing your opening book with a recording of a developed loadout.

The gameplay recording below demonstrates why book progress and character progress deserve separate checks. Its combat uses Fire, so use it for the progression interface rather than copying Fire's move names into a Wind build.

Checking book progression during gameplayUse the book-level interface demonstration; the recording's Fire moves are not a Wind move list.

Make a Wind spell note you can reuse

Write a short note for each available Wind move after trying it: what target position worked, what caused a miss, and whether you could continue the fight safely afterward. Keep the observation specific enough that you can reproduce it during the next quest.

What to record from your Wind book
Spell-panel detailCombat observation to add
The available move nameA position from which you landed it
A locked move's displayed requirementWhether the book has reached that requirement
The book's displayed levelWhich moves were available during the comparison

At Book Level 10 and 20, inspect the panel again. Those milestones open additional spells inside the book you carry. Try the added move before deciding that the earlier spell note describes everything Wind can do.

Keep or replace based on the failed task

Keep developing Wind if it handles your present objective reliably and the next book milestone is the useful goal. Consider another style when you can explain what your available moves fail to do for the encounter you want to tackle.

Use the grimoire roster to identify alternatives and the spin guide to limit resource use. A frustrating fight alone does not establish that the next random book will solve it.

Does Wind need another spin for its milestone spells?

No. The game's Level 10 and 20 spell unlocks belong to the book you already carry.
